You can't transfer these over - you have to have ID to match the ticket, and they will check your ID at the ground. I've been to Olympiakos and even without away fans, they checked everybody's ID. Maybe it will even go to general sale, fingers crossed for you!

These are available to claret members now, which I’m not. If anyone gets a spare though, I’ll take it!

A bit under. Whatever, it's a 2 days trip, even if it's one of the closer European cities.

So why do YOU think there is a big lack of interest? Isn't it a 4 hour flight?

Get what you're saying - I've never managed to get a ticket for an away game in Europe, and also worked in Athens for a few years, so really looking forward to it. Just thought 1600 tickets wasn't many and would be snapped up, considering we're massive!

Re: olympiakos trip
Snare - Take your point, but there is just something a bit dull about group games in Europe, and after two previous years in Europe maybe the hardcore are losing a bit of enthusiasm about paying out and jumping on planes to watch a game of football?

The knock out rounds will be totally different.

Can't believe this game has gone down to 10 points and still not sold out. Any idea how many tickets have been sold?

I went last year - even without away supporters, so many flares, smoke, delays for the smoke to clear. Amazing atmosphere!

Went to an Olympiakos game against Panathanikos earlier this year. Quite lively

If we do give them 3000 tickets, can we make them catch a bus from West London to the ground? :-)

Re: olympiakos trip
It's not us "allowing" that, is it? It's UEFA's rules.

Re: olympiakos trip
But I suppose we will allow 3000 for them?

I wouldn't bother, really not worth the risk. They don't even allow away supporters for Greek League matches, in Athens at least, too much aggro.

If you get a ticket in their end, be sure to wear a Green t shirt with G13 on it

Talking to someone last night whose in laws live in Piraeus and has been to games there, I wouldn't get a ticket in the home end. I would have done it for most of the other European aways if necessary, but not this one.

I might try and do the same. I think there might be a chance in the home end, even if it could be a bit iffy. Bit of a different animal, but Sevilla was fine, and I was back in a tapas bar ten minutes after the game finished, unlike our fans who were kept in for a hour. This mob will probably keep us in longer.

Re: olympiakos trip
wouldnt surrpise me if west ham suggested this - put off fans and reduce exposure to olympiakos and make us pay for it.

works for me as my accom is close to the pickup spot.

Anyone live in Athens and errr able to get a home ticket?

Re: olympiakos trip
It makes you laugh that we have to go on the designated bus to get to a game and at at our own expense, we get banned for a vape. Imagine overseas fans not to be able to march to the game here.
